There’s no denying that friends are an integral part of life as they contribute largely in what a person makes of his or her life. This is the reason why Islam gives so much regard to friendship. Islam understands and acknowledges the importance of friends in one’s life. Unfortunately, everyone needs them but not everyone has them. The relationship kept with friends is emphasized very highly in Islam. Not only is it encouraged, but also it emphasizes on the selection of right friends. A friend should be a confidante and someone who can always give you the right advice no matter what.
